Community Event of the Year

The Event of the year award recognises a specific event held within the year and organised by members of the local community. It may be one specific group or a coming together of many community members (individuals and groups) for the common good. The event will have made a significant contribution to community wellbeing, the local economy or built community spirit.  It provides a means of publicly acknowledging an event which has added to the wellbeing of the shire.
