Carrathool Shire Council maintains the second largest rural roads network in NSW.
The roads network is a key asset not only for residents and visitors to the area but supports a $250 million agricultural industry within the Shire boundaries. Council expends more than $8 million each year in maintaining these roads.
Some roads are "dry weather" roads only. Motorists are advised to check road conditions prior to travelling on these roads.
