Council has a significant portfolio of community infrastructure assets under its care and control. These assets form an integral part of providing services to the communities of Hillston, Goolgowi, Merriwagga, Rankins Springs and Carrathool.
The significant proportion of Council's infrastructure assets have been in existence for many years. These assets have originated from a combination of Council construction as well as from development activity within the communities.
As a significant proportion of these assets are near the end of their useful life the cost of their renewal is a financial challenge for Council.
The Asset Management Plans contain a 10-year forward plan for each of Council assets. Capital upgrading projects have been identified and will formulate the future Capital Works Program.
The infrastructure assets assessed are included in each of the plans below:
'Core' Infrastructure Risk Management Plan
Transport Infrastructure Asset Management Plan
Site Improvement Infrastructure Asset Management Plan
Plant & Equipment Asset Management Plan
Land & Buildings Asset Management Plan
Water Supply & Sewer Services Asset Management Plan
